Reindex and KnowledgeGate in strategic partnership
The valuable knowledge in companies and organizations is based, above all, in the employees.
To support this knowledge, and also to manage the acquisition and distribution of ever new knowledge resources, we use formal systems for storing and making available knowledge in the form of documents, various media representations, databases, etc.
These systems are managed in archives, knowledge centres, media centres etc. Libraries have many names and manifestations because they meet the demands of a local idea, and local requirements. The need for knowledge systems adapted to the librarys individual policies and practises will certainly not diminish in the future.
Reindex and KnowledgeGate have recently delivered a joint solution for Oticon A/S. The solution integrates a local bibliographic database and document delivery service with an OpenURL Link Resolver.
Following the succesful implementation of this solution, we have agreed to enter a partnership based on our shared experiences. In the future we will share the development of our solutions for special libraries and information centres.
KnowledgeGate and Reindex both have a strong customer base in the world of special- and research libraries. We understand our users requirements, and we join forces to strengthen our service, and the future development for many years to come.
